The discipline
An LVT floor is made or lost in the subfloor.
Moisture in the slab, or a subfloor that was never flat, accounts for most failures. Both are visible before the planks are installed.
We hygrometer-test to BS 8203 before ordering. If it needs a damp-proof membrane or a smoothing compound, that is in the price at tender.
